What enters the feed
The feed builder reads the built publication itself. A page enters RSS only when it has an explicit publication date and is not a utility surface such as Site Health, Corrections, Open Problems or this Subscribe page. Locale-specific pages stay in their locale feed rather than being duplicated into English.
Why the feed is deterministic
Many RSS generators stamp every build with the current time. RESONANCE does not. lastBuildDate is derived from the newest publication entry, and items are ordered by publication date with a stable route tie-break. If the publication state is unchanged, rebuilding the feed does not invent a new historical state.
Email newsletter status
Email delivery is not enabled in v0.6. We are not collecting addresses through a decorative form before choosing a provider, retention policy and privacy contract. RSS is the first subscription transport because it works without creating a reader identity database.
Verification
CI checks RSS structure, Atom self-link identity, item ordering, locale routing, publication-route existence and feed autodiscovery links. After GitHub Pages deploys, a live contract fetches the public feeds and representative recent item URLs again.
Direct channel
Publication → feed → reader.
No recommendation system is required for the basic delivery path.
